These terms explain the rules for using Hady. Please read them, they form an agreement between you and us when you use the app.
Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing or using Hady (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Hady is an educational app that teaches classical and Quranic Arabic based on the Madinah Books, and gives you feedback on your written, handwritten and spoken practice. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service.
Accounts
You need an account to use Hady. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Free and premium plans, subscriptions and billing
The core course and book content are free. A premium subscription unlocks unlimited AI grading and pronunciation checks and removes ads. Free users receive a set number of checks each day and may watch a short ad to top up.
Premium subscriptions are sold and billed through the Google Play Store under its terms. Payment is charged to your Google Play account, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you manage or cancel them in your Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policy.
Acceptable use
Please use Hady only for lawful, personal learning. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems, and do not misuse the feedback features by submitting content that is unlawful or that infringes others rights.
Intellectual property and the Madinah Book content
The app, its design, software and original content are owned by Tamkeen Labs or its licensors. The course is based on Duroos al-Lughah al-Arabiyyah (the Madinah Books) by Dr. V. Abdur Rahim, used with the author's kind permission; those underlying works remain the property of their author. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own learning.
Disclaimers
Hady is an educational aid and its automated grading and pronunciation feedback may not always be perfect. The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. It is not a substitute for a qualified teacher.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tamkeen Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using Hady and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or where necessary to protect the service or other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws where the service is operated. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
